At Edge Dental Care we offer a comprehensive range of dentistry that will keep you and your family's teeth healthy, pain free and looking great.
Regular dental care includes your routine check-ups, hygiene appointments and any necessary x-rays.
We suggest most of our patients to attend a routine dental check-up every 6 months however, this can vary depending on the condition of your teeth and gums.
At your dental check-up, we will examine your teeth and gums, complete a jaw and oral cancer check and on occasion take an x-ray of your mouth to check the areas that are difficult to see with the naked eye.
If during your routine examination we discover a problem, or a problem arises whilst you are at home, we can help.
We offer a full range of general dentistry including crowns, bridges, veneers, fillings, extractions (where necessary) and other treatment to help our patients no matter what their dental needs.
If you are interested in teeth straightening but don’t like the idea of wearing braces, at Edge Dental Care we are proud to offer Active Aligners, a clear aligner which will move your teeth discreetly and effectively into a straighter position.
Teeth Straightening is one of the most desired aesthetic dentistry treatments. However, many adults are put off by having to wear a brace. With aligner technology you can straighten your teeth without anyone knowing, therefore having a minimal impact on your lifestyle.
The colour of your teeth can darken over time due to the effects of food, drinks (like tea, coffee, red wine) and smoking.
Any discolouration caused can be easily improved by visiting your dentist for teeth whitening treatment. These treatments can leave your teeth many shades whiter, allowing you to smile with confidence.
Root canal treatment, known as Endodontics, is carried out when the inside of the tooth (the pulp) becomes infected or damaged. This can cause a dull or sharp toothache, and may lead to a dental abscess, which can be extremely painful.
Root canal treatment eliminates the cause of the pain by completely removing the diseased or damaged tissue from the tooth and with modern techniques the procedure is pain-free and best of all, it saves your natural tooth, often for life.
Certain dental procedures require an additional level of training and understanding. These treatments can only be practiced by dentists who have achieved an additional qualification in that specific field of dentistry.
If you are in need of a specialist, and we do not have a staff member with the qualification, we will refer you to a relevant specialist within the area.
