In the past fillings were always made out of either gold or a silver-coloured alloy called amalgam. Both of these materials are extremely durable and in some circumstances they are still the best choice available. They both do however have one disadvantage – they do not match the natural white teeth in appearance. If you are looking for a more discreet option we also offer Composite (white) fillings.

Composite white fillings are made from a tooth-coloured material designed to restore the appearance of a previously filled tooth.
They offer the same benefits as silver fillings, filling the gap in your teeth, whilst giving your teeth a natural look. Using composite is a completely safe procedure, it can be used for new fillings or to replace any old metal fillings.
Root canal treatment, known as Endodontics, is carried out when the inside of the tooth (the pulp) becomes infected or damaged. A dental crown is an artificial tooth that fits over a damaged tooth making it strong and returning its natural tooth shape.

In more extreme cases we also provide surgical extraction treatment. A surgical extraction may be required if the tooth has been subjected to significant damage through accident or injury.
